Lean how to grow well, eat well and keep well. *Two more dates added as part of Chelsea Fringe.
This spring I'll be running a series of workshops, sharing urban gardening skills and growing tips. I'm a great believer that organic, fresh produce should become the basis of every diet, so not only will I be sharing cultivation skills, I'll be showing work-shoppers how to incorporate these delicious crops into a healthy and varied diet. Maximum 6 persons per workshop. Tastings and refreshments included.

Even the smallest plot can contribute to the protein content of our diets. This workshop explains how proteins contribute to a healthy diet and how you can grow vegetable protein in the smallest space, which is low in fat and high in fibre and vitamins.
Wednesday May 10th 6.00-9.00pm Flavouring Homemade Yogurt FULL
Milk is one of our most precious resources and a rich source of calcium and vitamin D. In this workshop I will show you how easy it is to make a natural organic yogurt, using raw unpasteurised milk, and how simple it is to flavour it by using fruits and herbs from your own garden. Learn about growing for flavour and harvesting for freshness. I’ll be explaining why cultured whole milk products are now firmly back on the nutritional agenda.
